How can I install Iron Cross to Darkest Hour?

I install the Iron Cross, put the "Iron Cross" folder inside "Mods" folder to the "Mods" folder in DH directory in "steamapps" folder. Then I try to launch it from Darkest Hour launcher, then it says "Excel file not found --- Do you still want to continue?" and I press ignore, then there's an error message "bla bla bla has stopped working" (I don't know what it's in english), then I download 1.01 patch, same thing, then I download patch 1.02 for FOUR HOURS because torrents didn't have much seeds and I found no other normal downloads, except the broken link linked in somewhere in these forums. And yes, I am mad, I wasted 9.99€ for a game that doesn't even work or doesn't have enough good instructions for people like me.

Here are the installation instructions from the tech support thread:

1- Install DH
2- Install DH 1.02
3- Install Iron Cross 1.00
4- Install Iron Cross 1.02 (or 1.03beta)

I haven't used the steam version. I have the gamers gate version and that have an installer program for Iron Cross that asks where you want to install Iron Cross and IIRC you should select the DH root folder, not the mods folder.

I have downloaded DH patch 1.02 and Iron Cross patch 1.02. I bought DH from Steam and Iron Cross from Gamersgate. But if I put Iron Cross to the main DH folder instead of mods folder, how can I start it from the launcher then? And what's "IIRC"? And what is this "excel file" thing?

This error message looks a bit weird for me. The address has "Mods\Iron Cross" twice. Maybe someone who has Iron Cross installed on DH could help. At the moment I have Iron Cross installed on AoD.

Nothing anymore. And that mods/IronCross/mods/IronCross looks pretty weird, I didn't notice it before. I'll check the directories if they are somehow in a wrong place.

Okay, I deleted the "Mods" folder inside the other "mods" folder and got the game working Thank you anyway for pointing that out.
