I'm wondering if I missed something:
I was doing a quick game as Egypt, just for the hell of it.
Before I could conquer it, Tripolitania, already at war, released Cyrenaica as a Satellite of GB . I annexed what was left of Tripolitania, but now lines of communications are cut by this new country.

I tried to start a war with them, but I couldn't do it (no diplomatic option) . I supposed this was because they were a satellite, so I declared war on GB instead, confident that they had other fishes to fry.

I was then able to conquer Cyrenaica swiftly, but then I'm again stuck with the diplomatic options:
I got a 100% WS with Cyrenaica, but no "sue for peace" options, since they're a satellite.
The overall WS is ~1%, so nothing to really negotiate there..

What am I supposed to do ? I don't see my WS vs GB improving much, they're busy elsewhere, and I'm not going to try for a naval confrontation :). Also, the Sue for Peace options don't seem to allow me taking control of the whole satellite...

Would I need to start a war with GB, somehow gain enough WS to force them to release Cyrenaica THEN start another war with Cyrenaica to annex them ?

Also, I passed my nerves on Tunisa, but conquering it's two cities only gave me 99.9% WS (something like 64.5% for Tunis and 35.4% for the other city), so I was unable to annex, especially since they had no army to speak of left for additional WS). Is this a bug, or am I simply unlucky ?

2) Demand they end the satellite status, in which case they automatically become YOUR satellite.

And that is rather annoying, seems like once a country becomes a satellite it stays one forever. Asking for satellite land in peace deals with the overlord the land will be priced as if you were in a war with the satellite alone... thus having to pay 50-70% warscore for a single province in a war against a major......... is hilarious.
