When I get Hearts Of Iron 4 I am probably going to do a minor nation and change their government like fascist Greece so what I want to know is what the rest of you guys are going to do with your countries

Well it'll probably be commintern or axis. I usually only play this game as multiplayer though.

I hope same ideology is not required to join factions. Fascist Italy seriously considered joining the Allies against Germany and there were strong fascist calls to do so.

It is not, but it gives a bonus.
However, I just don't like Mussolini so I could even join the Axis but still would like to abandon fascism
