I'm currently building a time machine to send (with a copy of Stellaris) to my past self of 2014 or 2015 so I can play Stellaris earlier in the end.

I don't know that much about temporal mechanics though (I didn't get that tech card yet, I'm just using tech from a Fallen Empire's planet right now) so it might only create an alternate reality in which the time machine arrives, in which case only my alternate self would benefit from it.
But in my opinion, it's worth a try

Sometimes I open Steam, select Stellaris and hover my mouse cursor over where the install button would be. I click it a few times, stop for a min, click some more then pour a glass of whiskey. I think its helping...

Still an undergrad, so my work is miniscule compared to yours (and mine is due on the day Stellaris releases, which is nice). Hell, I have no clue what comes after this year.

But I discovered a great game that cut off the pain : The Witcher 3. It is a great game.

So now I handle the wait pretty well. Still very hyped for Stellaris, but without the pain.
