How are you dealing with the wait?

Dealing with it by watching the Blorg streams over and over again, rocking back and forth whilst chanting 'Stellaris is my friend... Stellaris is my friend... '. I haven't washed in weeks and I'm living off pot noodles made with rain water.

I have till august, and mine is on the future of R&D organisations. As in structure, processes and R&D managers. I am on the interview stage now, I've completed my literature study.
I was planning to finalize it end of may, beginning of June. However last week I met some great people at a conference I helped in organizing who could assist me with the thesis.

You know, honestly the part that kinda worries me the most right now isn't exacty the med school itself, it is the moving 500km north from a not-big-city to an even-less-big-city part.

Honestly, I haven't had a chance to play FO4 yet, so I'll comment just from FO3: I can't praise this part in that game, at all. It feels like a giant theme park, not an actual world. You go to a place, complete a 10-minute-quest, then never come back nor ever feel the actual repercussions of your work except for a comment here and there from Three Dog. In FNV what you do in the small factions dotting the map also isn't exactly felt right away, but it always ends up neatly tied together in the ending slides, which I personally really enjoy.

It's more that in Fallout 3 and 4 you can find all these journals and terminal entries with all these little background stories that make the world feel much more alive, in one buildings in fallout 4 you can find correspondence from before the war between 2 employees (the dude trying to get the secretary to go out with him) and it's kinda pathetic, but then you read the last entry and it indicate that the secretary suddenly "disappeared", and in the boss's terminal you find an entry from a day where she accidently spilled coffee all over her boss's suit and he writes that if she ever does it again he would "stab her in the fucking neck with my pen"... and if you go to the warehouse level of the office you can find a skeleton hidden behind some crates with a pen laying next to it's neck...

It's all those tiny little stories spread all over the world that make their game worlds feel alive, and obsidian just never goes through the effort of making stuff like that unless it's for a side quest.
