I was playing Endless Space again and got sorely disappointed... again. It's just not a very good game. It looks polished and the graphics are slick but there is something really hollow about it.

I kinda have an exam few days before 9th. So I'm actually waiting and not waiting this date. Few days between these two dates will be hard for my patience though.
Lots of time on the forums and the wiki. Doing some fluff writing for my Empire. Got a timer on my outlook at work!
Kerbal Space program 1.1 has just been released so I'm gonna play though career mode until I've planted a flag on every planet/moon and have some resource stations built up. With unity 5 I might be able to build some properly big crafts without it taking ages to launch/fly.
Actually I think I'll finish the playthrough by building myself a big, functional and cool looking science ship, mining station and spaceport. Maybe add some mods that end up with researching FTL drives.

Oh, so that's why I had thoughts about KSP recently. Is it good/big update?
Haven't had the chance to try it yet but it appears that performance has got a huge boost and there's way more tutorials/info/scenarios in the game. It might need a hotfix or two though because there's still quite a few bugs being reported.

I'm busy with my yearly Babylon 5 rewatch and I'm rereading The Culture series when I don't feel like watching TV.
I am not really.
Trying to finish my masters thesis but I am stuck at the analysis.

Two take home finals due the week before stellaris... In Bayesian Inferences and Integer Programming. So beyond that, my full time gig, and my side project of building a personal simulation environment as the basis of a future consulting firm... I'm booked solid.
Rewatching B5 like many people here.
Playing other related games with short sessions. I do not have apetite to start a long campaign. Watching a selected few tv series. Getting excited for GoT season6.
There seems to be lots of things to do. I believe these last days will be similar to the rest of year. Won't they?

Mostly i have been stocking up and preparing my bunker ready for the end of the world as i know it, i believe with my current level of supplies and generator fuel i will be able to ignore the havoc taking place outside as i lead my glorious empire to complete domination of the galaxy. Be prepared folks the end is nigh.
