Why so many HRE Electors?
I don't understand why that's the case. In the time fame of EUII, or atleast the early part, only 7 states were Electors. They were the Archbishop of Mainz, the Archbishop of Trier, and the Archbishop of Cologne, the King of Bohemia, the Count Palatine of the Rhine, the Duke of Saxony, and the Margrave of Brandenburg. So, why are most States given the status of Electorate in the game? Is it because of the short life times of many German states, and to avoid there being only a single Elector?
