How am I doing?

Hi, after quite a while I finally really took the time and try to learn how to play Victoria 2.
I wanted to play the Netherlands since I thought that other nations were perhaps a little too easy.

Now I've seen quite a bit of Vicky 2 videos and I think there are a few extraordinary situations in my game which might have helped me along, for example Germany.
Me and England are best buddies and allied after fighting in a Great War together against France and Russia.
I've invaded France by myself twice (with help from some allies, I admit), so I like to think I'm more than a glorified buffer state.

However, I'm kinda getting worried about other Great Powers overtaking me, since my industry score is pretty low compared to the other GPs.
Here are a few pictures, and I hope you can tell me how this game is doing, and if I can do anything more.

Well, uh, you're doing far better than I did my first time around. I played Austria and my only real accomplishment was keeping the old empire together without the Hungarian compromise.

Your industry score is too low, try passing health care forms & using your NF to encourage craftsmen after you've reached 2% clergy.

You're doing fine but should have had your rich taxes on 0 the whole game unless you've had state capitalism and planned economy the whole time. Your capitalists can't build as much with you strangling them.

The netherlands has too many provinces and too small accepted pop to truly be a massive industrial powerhouse.

The Netherlands has too small of a population and thus industrial base, so it can't become a real industrial power. That is, unless you do cheesy stupid stuff like taking North West England from the UK.

The goddam gore on this map. Seriously, the Swiss took the Piedmont ? And Italy took some parts of southern France ?

Though, the most surprising thing is to see a thriving Bolivia, with access to the sea !!!

Also, it seems you're doing fine. Sure the Netherlands hasn't a big pop, but unless you want to conquer stuff, seems quite good.
