Hi everyone, who read this thread. Once upon a time, I read on Wikipedia that Paradox Interactive (hereinafter referred to as PI) are planning to release CS on smartphones. Of course, I don't follow all the developer diaries, but somehow I don't notice at least some movement towards the mobile version of CS. Perhaps this is due to the weakness of smartphones compared to computers, but nevertheless, I hope that PI will finally release CS Mobile very soon.

Cities Skylines was apparently a struggle for the Nintendo Switch. I imagine it would have to be cut down dramatically to work on a phone.

I've seen some people hopeful that it will run on a Steam Deck, but I haven't seen any confirmation that it will.

I agree and I have OpenTTD mobile. I found editing on OpenTTD mobile to be...let's say...a little onerous. Games like this on mobile honestly don't end up very good because the touch interface is inherently limiting for the format. You are going to lose a LOT of precision. On top of that they'll need to really cap the number of assets for the game, definitely no pathfinding that's more complex than OpenTTD (which I think is a custom engine and not Unity or anything?).

It well and truly would be a "city painter" as some people say derisively about the desktop version.

Well its only really anno with a bite back economy, and unless a real war early that is easily beatable still
Frost punk is mean tho, probably the only builder that is. Isnt anno on android? Townsmen is greatfun.

Builtit is just a on the bus game, nothing more, murders your data, its also a money pit

Ottd is fine on mobe, but best played at 7"or above on maps of 512x512 (no bigger). Playing with the settings to get more water, rougher terrain. Starting in 1800 with horses and carts is best, cause it is still slower to build things. And in earlier times its easier to grow towns slower
Knowing the querks of the game before you play is helpful and the gui can be tweaked. Build on pause is handy setting. As is turning off news messages, notifications, alerts

PS well before unity
