If there was also an option of buying something like a limited-edition version of Victoria in a tin, what goodies would you want in it? Here's my list:

Disc 1: The game

Disc 2: The soundtrack on a seperate CD.

Disc 3: A making-of DVD covering the game's development. Features concept art, interviews with the development team and footage of staff members doing research at the libraries of Stockholm. Includes a commentary track by Patric and Johan.

A cloth map of the world in 1835

Some tin soldiers in Victorian-era garb

...Your suggestions?

Hard to beat, but I have one thing to add.

A cd that includes really easy to use modding software. such as an event creater. Just type in the description, etc. and boom! it has an event in vicky format. Thats all you need for a great add on.

Disc 4: DVD disc about World History from 1835 to 1920 to give the player as much information about that period as possible including all information about ruling dynasties and their family line.

I'd say making a "Collectors Edition" would be more of a costly thing then profit generating for any company but EA or Vivendi..

Although I reckon the chances of him having done a world conquest within 80 days of release are pretty high :)

A tin would be cool - perhaps in the style of one of those Victoria and Albert commemorative trinkets with all the Empire in red and ships steaming this way and that.

That said, I wouldn't buy it :)

I would be just happy if they would finaly include some fancy graphics, animations and artwork to the events. Like the blowing of a ships-horn, cheering crowds and military marches when you you set off a new built ship. Or fluttering flags and goose-stepping prussian soldiers on Parade if you conquer a major province. I want to have a 19th century feeling when I play the game.
