I want to play Nationalist Spain but with the event I always get the Rebublic when the civil starts. Any way to start the war as Nationalist Spain beside switching the nation by save game.

I did this once myself. I recommend that you pick a tiny minor to play (I chose El Salvador) so that you don't alter the game dynamics too much prior to reloading as Nationalist Spain. You can just put it on top speed and cruise through to July. And don't forget to set your msgs so that the game pauses when any country goes into civil war. I forgot to do that, but fortunately my prefs were set to pause when any country got an event with multiple choices.
How does the divide of troops work? The one to whom the privince belongs get the troops which are stationed there? If, I can bring all troops in nationalist provinces in position and the rebublic wont get any, beside the ones of the supporting countries.
How to handle spains lacking resources? The ICs I can get up to a moderate Level due to undevelopped provinces, but where are the easy resource victims? Must be France when Germans invade them 2 or? And what will happen with my conquered provineces when Germany makes Vichy? I dont want to join any alliance and edited end of game to 1960 in 1.06c.
