I feel sorry for you guys, but, if you dont mind, Uls, what was your Grand Strategy plan for Veneto? Were you going to colonize?
Heh, Uls (Austria) wouldn't have been doing much after 1700 I'm sure. I'm confident that by then Austria would have been humbled by one or two major wars.
The Austro-French alliance mauled Spain badly, enough for other powers to take note. Eventually the other powers would have aligned against them, at the very least for one devestating conflict. The outcome will never be known of course.
I will say this. I really enjoyed this short campaign. Maybe I've learned a few things here. I've found grabah to be a trustworthy ally, a man of his word, offering his diplomatic support when I asked it, and always reasonable in our private discussions. I found Uls to be a cunning and confusing diplomat. After every session of conquest he wanted NAPs with 3 nations. I always knew in the back of my mind that he wanted complete domination for Austria, yet he always seemed so light hearted and affable. If I ever play with you again, friend, I'll make sure to keep a very close eye on you.

Duque, I wish this campaign had continued. The kings of Sweden and Spain may have met victoriously in the center of Germany.
Oh the possibilities that will never be realized. On to the next campaign.
