Exactly, I've always gotten the alternate comet that added stability when I've had a natural scientist. Maybe I was lucky, but I think it was a given. Scientist = good comet.

If you have a natural scientist in 1577 then you are likely to get the +1 stability comet event. (MTTH of 8 months)

Austria also has a +1 stability comet event if they own Sundgau between 1450 and 1550 (MTTH of 500 months)

Otherwise, sacrifice a human heart to appease the comet!

You've obviously barely played EU4. Optimal strategy clearly dictates that you shout "The economy you fools!!!"

Jake's avatar is now the generic Paradox dev emblem instead of the Ryuuku flag.

Please patch/hotfix immediately.

So it's a different event alltogether? I've barely used the natural scientist advisor and got that event once or twice, so I must have made a mistake in assuming that he automatically changed a regular comet event into that one. Also hail Jake. Sorry for causing commotion :p

Also I've missed the memo about Jake joining Paradox. No more exploits left for us, he'll get them all :(

DDRJake joining Paradox is just the usual tactic "If you can't beat them, join them" :p

if by "can't beat em" you mean reference of paradox to jake, and by "join em" you mean paradox accepting jake's superiority the yes
