Thank you WIZ and Captain Gars and the rest of the Paradox team for the province_group fixes. Hopefully the trigger and scopes work correctly in events, decisions, missions etc the same way regions did before 1.14.
Will you consider changing the labels on the buttons so that anything which will actually quit and restart the game says so because that is a big part of the confusion for people who didn't read 18 pages of patch notes.
I mean, don't get me wrong it's an effective way to avoid the problem but quitting to menu is basically the same as restarting? It's just not. Like, at all. I'm not even sure how anyone could think the two are even remotely similar.
Wish this was made more clear that restart after exit to menu was normal! I was always super sad when this happened to me and always hoped for something to fix it. But if it helps stop bugs that would occur, I'll be okay with it!
Because you can dictate them to make claims with the new patch, so they could just scrap the whole thing again. Just taking the territory yourself and giving it to vassal is better anyways, as it lowers their liberty desire.

In EUIV, the "game state" is prepared when you're at the menu. So, going back to the menu is essentially the same as restarting, except for a few initial bits like "hey Windows, open this program!" This is also why you have to restart when switching from single-player to multi-player. It's all quite odd, really.
