Verify your files and compare checksum, if you have mods running try disabling them.
Checksum is fine, but looks like Arumba's keyboard shortcuts are causing it (only mod I have enabled). Disabling it works, thanks.

After hotfix, I reloaded my Burgundy game. After a while I wanted to check achievements and it said "This game is meant to played as Japan". Then I exited to main menu, noticed there is still ironman icon in my save game however, "PLAY" button states "Save game belongs to another user or edited", I've loaded it and achievement window now also stated "Save game belongs to another user or edited". I was 150 years into this game, please respond if this is a UI issue or ironman is infact gone.![]()
Fix the Pause, or we'll stick out our Paws!
If you manage to do that is there any chance it would also award achievements for any nation formations that broke the save in the first place? We're going to look into a way to recover broken ironman saves tomorrow.
Didnt fix my crashesHope they find the problem

The hotfix was updated (see Wiz's post 50 minutes ago in this thread) - I have now updated the hotfix checksum; should be d7f1.So, my checksum has now changed to 1.14.1.0 (4df1)... Was there a ninja update because Steam updated and now checksum is different.
When Common Sense was released, there were varying levels of corruption had with the mods being downloaded and/or how the launcher was handling them. Fixing this problem was disabling your mods and deleting the mods/ directory (peer to your save games directory).
Also, a few others reported that a keybind mod (Arumba's I think it was) was causing crashes and once disabled they were able to continue.
Neither solutions may work; the problem may lie elsewhere, but I offer it as something to try.
@Wiz Please tell us if you plan on fixing the unpause thingie or if its WAD?
