I don't understand why the developers created Horde doomstacks that take no attrition. It is not realistic and infuriating. A friend and I were playing Multiplayer on The Old Gods as Pomerania and Russia, and the Seljuk Turks completely dominate us. Russia's best defense is attrition, and it doesn't make any sense for a unit to take no attrition - we don't stand a chance. Hordes can already declare kingdom subjugation casus beli whenever they want, in addition to the huge number of horse archers and event spawned troops. Hordes are overpowered as it is; why on earth should they be attrition-free? It is unrealistic and makes the game unplayable for Rus and Poland. The fact that the doomstacks do not replenish is not much consolation. It is unfair and game-breaking. I strongly recommend that attrition apply to all units.

There should be attrition. But an army should'nt feel it as long as there are ressources to pillage in the province. Those ressources sould just be less important/better hidden in a pagan/tribal province. If the mongols are quick enough to siege, they shouldn't suffer to much, but suffer still.
No that we've got a loot bar for each province, why on earth are we continuing with the abstraction of attrition ?

I agree; what you are describing seems to be how attrition normally applies to units - if you are at war with another country and successfully siege a province, your troops don't take attrition in that province any more if I am correct. It seems to me that the devs were a bit too hasty in attempting to make the Hordes extremely powerful enemies and didn't bother to think about realism and how playable fighting them becomes.
