horde war ends

Playing Ottoman, suddenly my war with the Golden Horde ends. No notification.

I am about to take Kaffa, have 450 colonists there, Austria takes Banat, this puts Serbia and Bosnia, both out of contact with the Golden Horde. Both Serbia and Bosnia were my vassals at the start of the war and now are not. (other war negotiations) Could this be the cause? They can no longer be at war so they end my war?
Reloaded and broke alliance with both before the annexation of Banat, that didn't help.

It was! I loaded up my formal vassals after I cancelled alliance, had them peace out with the Golden Horde before the Austrian grab of Banat.

My war did not end.

Testing this out a bit more, and I believe it is exploitable or gamey. If you cancel a vassalation while in a horde war, and your vassal does not share a border with a horde, the war ends.
