Lets say for some odd reason that in game the Mongols and Aztecs border each other, would I assume that it be doomstacks vs doomstacks of mongols and aztecs fighting one another?
I don't think either of the Aztec nor the Mongol Hordes would have a large enough hellstack to make it a worth-while fight. Plus, where would the player be in all this? Hiding in Iceland?![]()
Its simple. This DLC is in a alternate history where the Aztecs developed much faster than the Europeans. Their tech allows them to transport armies from the Americas to Europe in force. Why their models look like the typical Aztec warrior, that may simply be a cultural thing, where they put feathers over their armour. Like how Europeans like armor detailed with gold and making huge crosses during Crusades.
Back in topic, i think it will be just like Golden Horde vs Ilkhanate combat. Doomstack + levies vs doomstack + levies.
And also, will there be any events about Aztec interaction with horses? Or have they already conquered the Americas?

Aztec religion itself wouldn't let them for such conquests. They hadn't horses, or immunity for most of disease. Also, they lacked resources to create good weapons and armors.
I believe that Johan said that they won't start with horses which makes sense in a way.
Yeah, but Paradox - being Paradox - nixed the "remove the arms from children" event.Mongols would win against unarmored and stone age aztecs. As would everyone else. European peasants would win against them as well. Any peasant would. I'd say the best chance Aztecs have is against unarmed children.
Yeah and because it's so easy the nords managed to conquer the Americas ... ooooh wait ... the indians didn't let them do it.
Its simple. Their religion was overthrown by a more progressive one. Like how Rome converted from Greek polytheism to Christianism (a religion outlawed by Rome!).
Yes, but will there be any events about the Aztecs discovering Horses? Western Europeans used plenty of cavalry in their armies, cavalry that could do horrendous losses to the pure infantry Aztec armies.
If the Scandinavians (this isn't the Elder Scrolls) had the manpower with them (remember they were trying to establish a foothold on an entirely new continent, across a vast ocean, with a pitifully small number of men) then they would have likely established a firm foothold in North America.

Hernan Cortes managed to conquer the whole Aztec Empire with roughly the same number of men. Its all about tech and diplomacy.

Primarily it's all about diplomacy and making people think you have magic. Not exactly the same thing and the emphasis is on diplomacy. Cortes had 10 times the number the Scandinavians had (though that's still not a lot) and used them to terrify small groups into submission so he could band them together and use them as a much larger army against those he couldn't get to fall over on their own.
