Yeah, I only meant it as a necessary and not a sufficient condition anyway. We still have to find out, what other relevant differences are there in the savegames (hope it´s not in that cryptic cfg ).

I think im gonna restart the game then. Firstly that soundbug that since march 1627 makes it impossible to have the sound on, and now this. And then the fact that conquering the entire world is tedious work, everytime there is war there are rebelliouns everywhere, and the natianallity revolts slow you down.
The rebellions are not a problem, they are easy enough to keep back, but it takes alot of time to micromanage.
