For Slavic first we must know what is "Children of Perun"
As creator of "Better Slavic Pagan Mod" - I'm very interested of this doctrine and the vision of Slavicness in Paradoxian minds.
I chose aforementioned because they're explained

There's a defined age for when women stop having children in the game. Taken from Crusader Kings 2\common\defines.lua:I only ever had a 40+ female character give birth only once, so I think you can fairly reliably expect females not to give birth above 40.
I want to pick animism, and I possibly will for my tengri game.
Not a fan of heir designation. I kind alike to "fix up" the random heirs that I get over the course of their rule. Easier to do with monastic societies, but maybe the warrior lodges will offer something similar?
Gotta say though, the tengri special doctrine seems weird. What is the point of polygamy if you can't get a significant bonus from it, like Zunists can?
What you get is basically a lot of heirs, who will split your kingdom upon succession, and you don't even get increased vassal opinions for it. Or do you?
MAX_CHILD_BIRTH_AGE = 45, -- Female menopause age.
I'm coming from a place of purely rp. If I was talking strictly power play, I'd almost certainly take meritocracy every single time. Multiple wives + heir designation = God Emperor of the Sun with every genetic trait every single time. Heck, I might even drop dawnbreakers for unrelenting since removing defensive attrition is kiiinda overpowered. That said, constant conquest and enough funding means you can reach 100 moral authority and convert counties fairly quickly.I wonder if Animistic would be a good idea (power wise, when it come to RP its purely personal) since at the start of the game in a normal 769 start date only 3 province in the whole world are zunist, and even by the time you reform the faith you'll probably have barely 1 or 2 more converted province if you're lucky, so you won't get much help from the Moral Boost, i think Animistc is a more viable choice where the religion is naturaly wide spread by the time you reform, like Slavic, Germanic, African, or Even Tengri if you're nomadic.
Unrelenting would probably be a better Pick for Improved Army in my opinion.
Definitely excited to try out Enatic Clans. I did think at first that it wouldn't make much RP sense, as all tribal pagans are locked into agnatic succession, but then I thought about it. Tribal societies are basically run by whatever clan has the most military strength, so naturally men would hold political power in those societies, but as temple holdings can be held by both men and women, we know that in the game at least, women potentially have a great deal of cultural/religious authority in said societies. It's not that hard to envision a religious reformation that restructures society in such a way that emphasises women's pre-existing areas of authority over those of men, in much the same way that Catholicism emphasised the societal relevance of male authority over women in the real world.
EDIT: Presumably, Enatic clans still allows men to serve as commanders. As such, we see that the men still have military power, but that no longer translates to political control.
Enatic Republics are more interesting from a modding perspective, mainly because paradox did a proper job making the Nomad system as even if they are mostly locked to men in the base game they function properly with the other gender laws when modded, modding a republic allow women on the other hand is a recipe for tons of bugs and requires peridotic maintenance events to keep game ending things happening whenever you have a female heir or doge.Forget Enatic republics this means Enatic Nomads are also possible.
I know it is somewhat hypocritical of me to say this after my last post, but let us keep the DD somewhat on topic, please. Then you can nag at me for other things in other threads![]()
Damn, you're right, thought i added it at the same time as sea-bound so never went back to check, I'll edit back in right now.@Vorglich , It seems you forgot to list Daring, which allows use of Prepared Invasions, among doctrines in the first post. It is both described in Dev Diary as a part of Germanic exclusive and named in one of a Snow Crystal's posts in this very thread.
Totem-Guardians: Ruler can order to "Take the Vows" , Extra Tax on Infidels, Allow Eldership Succession Law (African Exclusive)
Punks and puns.So you reform the pagan religion with this, what are these Pagan monks and nuns going to be called?
You used "pun" AS A PUN.Punks and puns.
Actually they're not. I don't know when they changed it, but tribal non-Bon pagans can go agnatic-cognatic succession now.
Zun have Hermerics by default thoughZun religion with their exclusive + Astrology for acces to hermetic society seems to be best option.
I'm thinking about using Dawnbreakers + Equality to be able to land your sisters easily and marry them for non-agression pacts with powerful vassals. You don't really need Equality, but it can help.Zun religion with their exclusive + Astrology for acces to hermetic society seems to be best option.

There's only one catch. Two, actually. One is the reduced fertility in Divine marriages even if both partners are totally healthy, and the other one is the eventual mentally re... I mean inbred that may appear.HMMMM that's actualy a good idea too. Because with a bit of luck they will all have the same heir as you![]()
