Hello all,

Recently been experimenting with placing the duchy of holstein into the dejure of the kingdom of Denmark with some interesting results.

As the game roles on, Denmark will attack the HRE when it is in an weaken state for its dejure land and claim bits and pieces of the dejure. This is usually followed by some years of peace when the HRE minors will retake/declare war on denmark for the land back.

Moving this duchy created some tension in the north and has lead to a reduction to the ai declaring suicidal holy wars for the baltics.

So I put it the the HIP community if purely for gameplay reasons the duchy of holstein be moved into the danish kingdom or just left how it is.

In general I support the idea, as Denmark did control parts of ti, for the decent amout of time in the CK / EU timeframe... but I am not sure that the AI can handle it properly. Nothing to do with HIP, more with base AI in game. I have seen many sucidal wars that drag on for decades, as it is, especially in HIP (HIP tends to increase number of troops, but AI can't rationalize when it stands no chance, and will lose everything if he continues the fight.. white peace is not an option really).

Well after a handful of games, when denmark isnt fighting itself or holy warring for some land in the baltics. It is attacking the HRE when it is weak for land.

What is funny too when the hre pushes for land back and the tug of war for holstein is in motion
