Right now as we see is 2 kind of tradeposts Silkroad tradeposts and republic tradepost.
I totaly agree, republics have more tradepost improvments avaible to build couse they are experts, but if feudal takes over his tradpost he/she should keep all improvments, seems weird they all get destroyed.
1)So my idea would be Feudals to get all improvments if they take over republic tradeposts.
2) feudal who territory tradeposts is builded can set trade tax.
3) If tradetax is too high tradepost can decline to pay it
4) If tradepost will not pay tax it leads to even what have 3 outcomes
4.1) Tradepost is forced to pay tax + penalty
4.2) tradepost is destroyed
4.3) tradepost is taken over by land owner
Also i think building should be seperated from holdings and if goverment changes you have manualy convert holding uprades, and if culture changes you can keep old cultural building, but it less effective .
