As the title says. Any plans for this feature? CK2 to EU4 save converter is awesome, love to see the concept extended to the modern era titles such as HOI and EvW

It's not so much that East vs West is dead(which it isn't), it's that East vs West is on a different engine than Hearts of Iron IV.
East vs West is on an old Clausewitz engine, while HoI4 is on Clausewitz 3.

Close but in ready the articles out, HOI4 is on the NEW version 3.0 not 2.5
, but yes EvW is on 1.5 from what I've read

Not as far as Paradox are concerned, not since they soft-cancelled the game as a commercial release.

Modders will probably try to make one, just like they are trying to make a EUIV to Vic2 converter.

This was a bad move by paradox and we need to show them, this game EvW was only several days or weeks away from Beta and very close to being done, Please help us in trying to change their minds on the game please.
There has been no good cold war game ever and the Bi-Logic Game EvW was one of their most anticipated games. It was by far the best game to even come into paradox if you ask me. Please lets unite to find a solution and convince Paradox to change their minds!

Uhh well, wasn't MotE some kind of mutant baby of another game? Maybe they'll make something similiar. (Sorry for calling it a mutant baby, but the singleplayer aspect was pretty lackluster but it keeped me plenty satisfied with its multiplayer to be worth the money, also the fancy picture!)
What. I thought they were gonna release the open beta because it was so far from being done that they're going to cut funding and put it on a donate if you want permanent open beta?
EvW is dead, and marshall law was declared in the subforum (literally, all threads locked)
Still, locking the threads and talking about it on another subforum sort of removes the purpose I think.
For decades gamers have been anticipating a true late 20th-century strait blockade simulator. The thrill of closing off the critical maritime passage between South Island and Stewart Island, forcing NATO convoys in the far south pacific literally miles out of their way and cutting the flow of supplies to the dozens-strong New Zealand Territorial Force garrison there.
Support the revolt, guys. Don't pay paradox 13.99 for some ripoff HoI4 strait DLC.
East vs West would be far better using Vicky as a base. The Cold War was a peaceful time in general, and it was largely fought economically and diplomatically rather than militarily. I'm not personally sorry to see it go, though I do feel for those who anticipated it and worked on it.
That said, a tie in to another game is problematic to say the least. And it doesn't necessarily profit PI to do so. I'm for putting all effort into the game itself, as it's own entity, during development. Maybe DLC could provide tie-ins.
