We have been playing numerous 5-8hrs 32p serious MP games on this patch. Its a definitely improvement over 1.4.1 and there have been far fewer crashes and no serious issues. It is clear for release. Can we get an update on whether it will be released for all this week?

most other stats sit at higher numbers so we bumped them a factor 10 for easier reading. it gets changed in the code so there is no difference for gameplay (we did miss updating the airwing interface, but fixed that internally already)
Regarding the interface, is there a way to see how long it will take an airwing to deploy from reserves when you initially create it? There was a percentage meter on the old interface, but that seems to have been removed from the new interface.

1. Romania has no correct portrait of the admiral, there is a general instead of an admiral.
2. During the war, Romania had the largest number of cavalry among the Axis countries, it would be great if you added an adviser to the cavalry to this country, as you added earlier to Poland.
3. Please add a cosmetic tag for the Soviet Union when it is conquered by Germany. "The Russian Empire" look ridiculous.

I feel like the new occupation rules for de-facto control should be a bit cheaper, than they're currently in peace conferences and ignored for places you have claims/cores on. It's pretty common for bigger powers to take control of the states you're fighting in and then you just end up not able to afford it, even if you are having have more contribution. Also maybe make it more transparent, like show in the hover-over of every point in the demands list, which modifiers affect the warscore cost.

Got a few hours in yesterday, and 1.4.1 looks like it's working very well (and 1.4 in general is a wonderful improvement :D). You've all been very busy bees indeed :cool:.

That said, Germany still seemed a bit keen on bashing into Maginot. I'm playing as SOV but did a quick tag switch to have a look at what was happening, and saw:

It seems their offensive plan is for more than just Maginot, but the system has only highlighted Maginot provinces as the first stage of the plan, so Maginot it is. Just mentioning in case helpful. Save for this screenshot attached below.

Do you see this consistently? If so; could you find an earlier save?
When I run the attached one the AI spends a few days fixing this situation.

I'm afraid I was playing as SOV, and just tagged over to have a look and noticed. I'll play a couple of hands-offs tomorrow and see what GER does then, and try and make sure my autosaves are set up sensibly so there's a couple of options for any possible examples (and, of course, I bet there are none! But either way I'll post back in here with however it goes :)).

AI logic is different when suggesting to player or other AI, so doesnt mean they wont send to AI germany (doesnt mean they wont tho, but its different logic. AI generally prefer player to ask when possible)

Thanks! That is good to know! It is nice to not be bombarded by constant expeditionary force requests. :)

Dunno is this a bug or not.
Made a 'Novus Imperum Romanium" as Italy with Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Romania. Non-aggression pact with Germany and I sent tons of lend-lease to them. In 1941 Hitler just stole YUG via focus like it was out of question.

been tweaking, but not finished yet for this update. should make it in for when we go live (hopeful me thinks wednesday if all looks ok). We are chasing an elusive out of synch bug in MP atm.

Any word, if this will be fixed also:


1) is it normal that national spain after the civil war builds masses of Divisions? I counted 250 Divisions in Summer 1942. And as they are part of the Axis now this could lead to a very debalanced Outcome of the war. On the other side, spainish Divisions are all inside spain at all coasts or fronts.

2) Again German AI gets parts of conquered Land of Axis Friends. They got a part of the coast in Algeria, some Part inside Serbia from Italia, and the western half of conquered India from Japan. Especially this last part seems very strange. How could the AI handle that land to Germany? I have seen this since some time now also in 1.4.0 often. While Yugoslavia is historic what about India?

3. Japan (again) doesnt try to conquer dutch east Indies, even as they are very successful. Now after conquering all of China, India and Singapoore.....they bring all Divisions to the northern borders near Sinkiang, Mongolia and SU. Why not using some of their 200 Divisions to conquer the easily capturable Dutch East Indies? So many Ressources there.

4. Since 1.4.1 the AI uses its Fleets not anymore in big fleets, but spreads them over all Oceans. YOu can see 30-40 US Fleets, some only with 2 Aircraft Carriers, or others with just 3 battleships, without any Cruisers or Destroyers protecting them. And then numerous lonely sailing ships like Destroyers. That leads that masses of ships get on the ground of the ocean fast. Japan, US and UK loses nearly all smaller ships in the first years. I Dont remeber that is aw such behaiviour in 1.3 or even in 1.4. Also masses of lonely sailing Infantry Divisions on the seas, especialy the pacific, where the masses of lonely sailing enemy ships have a easy game to fight against them.
