Been waiting for something like this! However...

I can see this is present in the tooltip but pressing CTRL-B doesn't appear to actually do anything? I would expect it to make selected units that are moving normally switch to railroading, or units that are railroading to go the slow way? Pls can anyone confirm.

Dont worry B is the same as always. It decides what your next order is. Ctrl+B changes already existing movement, so its great if you assign troops somewhere, notice they dont strat redeploy - just hit ctrl+B - and you can toggle their way of movement. its super sweet

Not sure if anybody else has seen this but I won the Spanish civil war as Republican Spain. Once the Russian Civil War broke out on the trade screen I see Nationalist Spain in the country list but on mouseover it shows Russia.

1.6.1 b8cd - although not mentioned in the b8cd release notes, severe issues with German Naval AI continue to exist. To see this for yourself, just run '39 scenario and watch GER Hands off, AI vs AI.

a) GER convoys (and I assume all other nations), will have their convoys go through yellow zones, even though there is indeed another viable path through allowed sea zone. If the sea zone is set to red, transports will indeed bypass the red sea zones. GER AI only has Red on the English Channel, Yellow on other sea regions around the UK, and GER transports sail along the northern and western UK coast line getting murdered.
b) % coverage factor on Escort Missions is now missing (this worked in the previous version of 1.6.1, so its a digression)
c) GER Naval AI continues to allocate raiding missions in Red and Yellow Sea Regions, even though there are plenty of allowed sea regions within range

So, GER Convoy Raiding is still poo poo. Maybe in a good month, Convoy to Sub KDR is 3:1, which is a reason to execute Dontiz without hesitation.

I have no issue launching the game on Linux.

By the sound of it, some DLC are not enabled, double check in the launcher that everything you have is checked.

Do also try to verify the game files through steam and rename the folder "Hearts of Iron IV" in "$HOME/.local/share/Paradox Interactive".

If all of this fail, do open a bug report on the bug forum.

Yeah it was supposed to be doing that. I just checked it and it seems to be working fine. Are you sure you are on correct version? Are you seeing this tooltip? Ensure that you are not a mod that overrides that gui file

I'm working on the fix right now for crashing when using Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Russian. My sincerest apologies; I messed up a newline in our localization files. Will update when it's available.
theres a bug in the imperial decisions, in that they dont end and i cant do any of the others ( i added my comment to the related bug report already there), didnt realise till i had 5 days of the conference left and im in ironman :/

(edit: sorry for qouting then saying something unrelated, thought it might highlight it slightly faster :D)

I am on beta b8cd. As you can see the tooltip is correct and I have units selected on a move order, but the CTRL-B combination does nothing, it's like the game can't see that I'm pressing the keys.
