In my opinion i think it would be sweet to just be able to create a division i.e
Click a tab , then click division then just place it on the map , it would start with 0 troops but would have a maximum amount of troops that you could expand the division to. with this you could fill in
gaps.

This is actually how it worked historically i believe such as when army group vistula was created in 1945, Many new divisions were formed with inexperienced men such as volksturm etc. and what
ever experienced troops the high command could pull together were thrown into the new
formations.

I would think that *assuming you had the manpower* you could quickly strengthen a division to
15,000 men *assuming you had enough tanks in reserve* you could mobilize 150 tanks to join into the division and so on, that when its 1945 and you have a whole bunch of divisions waiting to finish production and they're about 70% built or what ever then oh your IC is so low you cant finish them say 200 IC and most are going to upgrades and supplies
you've already invested all this IC , are you telling me that 200,000 men 3,000 artillary would just sit there and say ah damn we're only 70% strength oh well guess we'll sit in Munich untill the end of the war......

So my answer to this would be the ability to form a division before you upgrade it, not make the
investment of ic , you shouldnt need to build a brand new division to 200 tanks 10,000 men before you deploy it.

thoughts? :cool::cool:

I like the idea, but it would really be more effort to priorize production then, because everything will be "upgrades".

What i found a little bit strange is to deploy difisions anywhere in the empire.

It should rather be located somewhere, where the division is recruited, but i agree, that a division should be able to operate from day 1.

I think it would be too difficult to manage your ressources then, because you need troops and equipment and vehicles, additionally to "supply".
It would be interesting though, but I think paradox wants to attract more newbies and therefore will plan to make things easier to understand.
