Making Germany stronger artificially is not maintaining balance, you're giving them a buff, Germans are already stronger then they actually were. Also last time I played Germany von Manstein was 250 PP while Guderian was 150 PP, so they aren't the same cost.

but you could trade cost and benefits between Guderian in Von Mastein would stay the same balance today and making it more plausible historically

Guderian as a Mobile Warfare theorist makes sense, I have a problem with von Manstein having +10% Armour Speed though and he should have more of an impact that a generic research boost to all doctrines

I think to unlock certain rockets like mobile rocket launchers or grenade launchers you should have required to have unlocked the experimental rocket research plant

- Tech stealing text now matches what you always get rather than sometimes being random
- Removed tooltip in News Events showing up after defeating the other faction/s in the SCW before the second uprising. Added tooltip in News Events showing up after actually wining the SCW instead.
- Fixed an issue where, under specific circumstances in some edge cases, Gibraltar cores/claims could be lost.
- fixed an issue with the Iberian union not getting the correct 3d model

- Fixed OOS in naval combat when convoys are sunk in a MP with at least one client using a different language than the host
- Fixed OOS when a player asks an AI for a lend lease
- Fixed OOS caused by differing name of the airbase airwings participating in naval combat are coming from when a client has a different language setting than the host

Also, the beta should launch properly from steam on OSX now.

We also need the fighter XP issue fixed. I sent a regular air wing to Spain, and by the time the war was over it was green.

Does anyone know if there is a way for players to select the 41aa Beta instead of the 595b Beta?

I only see the option to select 1.9.1 or 1.9.2 beta in steam, not to select between the Betas.

The reason is... all my unit animations are moving unnaturally slow since 595b dropped, this was not present in 41aa and showed up immedately after 595b dropped. Rolling back to 1.9.1 does fix the issue but stealing techs that should be locked off is a game-killer for me ( this was fixed by 1.9.2-41aa beta).

Also, can someone clarify what the underlined section below means from 41aa changelog?
Tech stealing can no longer unlock mutually exclusive techs and will let you unlock techs with less than 50% progress on them directly also

Most recent checksum is giving constant performance issues, the FPS is averaging 30.

And all the Ui animations are slow and clunky, it feels like I'm playing the game at 5 speed, but at 1 speed instead.

Restarting the game doesn't improve performance? For me it sometimes does.

About tech stealing, you can save shortly before the operation is finished and reload to draw again the tech.

Sadly restart etc doesn't help, its definitely an issue with the Beta.

After my original post, I posted bug report on slow animations here:

I expect it's related to the low FPS issue that several people have now confirmed here:

RE: Save and reload is one option but I don't like to 'choose' what tech I'll steal. Immersion killing. Decided in the end to go back to the Beta and I'm currently 1939 with no issues that I've seen except for laggy animations/FPS.

Hi, if I may, I would like to request the following:

- Please remove Hawaii cores on Taiwan. This island is and has always been associated with China in every way (ethnically, economically, culturally, politically and so on). It has nothing to do with the Pacific Islands other than technically it's an island and located in the Pacific ocean. This happens when choosing decolonization option at the start of the game.

- Please remove cores and ownership from the Falkland island, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands and Pitcairn Island from Guyana, this also happens when choosing the decolonization option at game start. Guyana doesn't have any connection whatsoever to those island, you might as well given ownership and cores of them to aliens in a far away galaxy or something. The Falklands Islands South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands (Malvinas as is their real name in Spanish) belonged to Argentina before the British invaded and occupy them, so when choosing decolonization option at game start they should be core and owned by Argentina.
About Pitcairn Island there is no clear option to whom they would belong in a decolonization scenario. The least bad option would be to let Polynesia core and own them.

- Please remove Canadian ownership and cores from Bermuda in a decolonization scenario. Bermuda should be independent, if you can't bother the next best thing is to let Bahamas have it as it's generally regarded having far more connections to the Caribbean than any other affiliation.

- Please make Malaysia independent and non aligned when opting for Asian decolonization at game start. Why does the UK retain it as a puppet when I already told the game to decolonize it?

- Please decolonize Gibraltar, Malta and Cyprus when opting for British decolonization at the game options. It's inexplicable why decolonization mean continued colonization.
Gibraltar belongs to Spain core and ownership. Malta and Cyprus are their own people and countries.

Edit:

I forgot, please give Japan the island Iwo Jima it was as Japanese as mainland Japan at the time.
Also give shared cores to Mariana Federation and Japan in Saipan as Japanes settled the Island to a large extent. Ownership should be awarded to Mariana Federation if independent at start of the game. If Polynesia is formed at the game options the Island can't be owned by Mariana but giving fall either to Japan or Polynesia.

Edit 2:

Introduce the option to decolonize Geenland and Iceland at game start, please.

Edit 3: Am I even posting at the right thread? Please point me in the right direction otherwise.

Perhaps you should post this on the bug reporting section, or even create a new thread to discuss the issue.

Oh I thought I was the only one noticing the game running slower after the La Resistance DLC. I have 30 FPS regardless of early or late game. I had to go disable pretty much everything to make it playable.
