Then you should probably stop commenting on them brah.
But yeah, I should close the only link I have to bug fixes, dev diaries, mod forums, WWWs, and bug reporting. Great idea.
Its your kind of attitude that makes this place such a fiasco. If you dont exist in the isolated fanboi cadre, you hear constant rumblings about how this forum is terrible. It comes up as often as complaints about the AI on Reddit lol. Its part of paradoxes legacy. "The game will need 1.3 to work" "The forums are horrible" "There will be 40 horse armor DLCs".
Its what theyre best known for. Like EA is known for horrible communication, its lulz attempt at being Steam, and broken games, and Ubisoft is known for its problems, etc.
That doesnt mean the companies are bad, or the games are bad, it just means theres draw backs to all of these companies products.
The draw back to Paradox games is that they need patches, and the forums are absolutely abysmal. 90% of my list of Steam friends and gaming buddies agree with that. Its the stigma they have. They did that to themselves with the arbitrary rules, the agree and disagree buttons, the locking mods being registering, the badges, it all contributes to one of the worst user experiences for casual fans on the internet.
I have to create seperate forum accounts to register all of my games just to avoid the BS.
And then randomly I have to deal with my games getting unlinked from various accounts and backend database problems with this forum, while getting crapped on by fanbois for lack of badges. Its a microcosm of the worst aspects of Kindergarten.
