Hopefully, actually playing 1.9.2 instead of looking at code.oh finally a DD.
Where is Podcat all those weeks?
I wonder what it'll be - I imagine it's for the HoI4 Anniversary. Maybe a graphics pack? I think a focus tree a la Poland: United and Ready is unlikely, but did they have enough time to assemble a music pack or a set of sprites? I don't think they'll do a patch given there has been no dev diaries prior and they said they're shifting to the next expansion, maybe just a teaser for the next expansion?
Poland already has a tree via that DLC, but perhaps a short update to it? Overall, yeah it is probably going to be a content pack w/ a teaser(s) for the next DLC.
At this point, we are likely going to get a very broad view of one aspect of the game they are aiming to improve. The dev diary will talk about existing issues and how they are planning to address them, maybe we get an early work-in-progress screenshot.

They already did a roadmap update for 1.9.1, so I think they won't be doing that again for now. I'm hoping for a small content drop, maybe just some art and little fixes.

Dev Diary will be to let us know that Dev Diaries will resume after summer break.

Honestly, I'd be happy with that too - at least we would get confirmation early when we can expect dev diaries again. When does summer break start for Swedes?
Its more of a coffee break - their summer is the few hours from when the last snow melts away one morning, and the start of the next winter later that night. I might be wrong though. They might actually get a few nice days.
I love the Norwegian summer.

That's what I'm thinking, too. Probably a kind of "hey, we're back" DD with some summarizing, and then hopefully hints about what to expect from the next update

Personally, my bet is on Italy, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey, with maybe something crazy like... one of the South American countries [Brazil or Argentina would be my bets]. Something tells me that those would be less work, and they might be able to get another DLC out by years end, such that they have time for bug fixes before their winter break. On the other hand, the late winter / early spring releases have been working so far. They made it clear that the Soviet Union would be done along with a full revision of the land combat system - no small undertaking. I have a feeling that that might be left to last. Then, I am only guessing. Like everyone else.
I really hope that USSR will get a rework because it's been 4 years of neglect, defunct NF tree, absurd national focuses and lack of balance for the main opponent of the most played nation. Tendency to pump "Luxembourg DLCs" and other minors while majors like Italy and USSR and abandoned harmed the game to no end already. No amount of band-aid solutions will fix AI's inability to form fronts as USSR.

I’d say it’s 50-50 on Soviets or Italy. Soviets probably need the change more and be more popular but Italy would be made faster and give PDX an influx of cash after 2 long development cycles

I'm pretty sure it's the USSR, as they need it the most. If it's Italy and the Med, I hope the Soviets get some band-aid updates to them, at the very least.

Well obviously it's 50-50 on Soviets vs Italy, there literally isn't any other choice left. That said I expect the Soviets.
