This would be so cool! Historically, after german invasion Ferenc Szálasi and the Nyilaszkeresztes párt came to power. They could even be a german puppet ingame, if the player failed to switch sides. Although I wonder what structural changes would a succesful change of sides would bring.
Yes. Romania switching sides might be good for the next Barbarossa patch. Think not only Hungary, but Italy and Finland.

I don't see a direct correlation. France had overseas territories that weren't under (German) occupation, and once they start to get control of them they need an actual tree specific for that part of their 'resistance'. Greece, Poland, Yugoslavia, and others don't really need anything not provided by by the GiE and espionage systems (just don't forget to build your network before being occupied).
But Yugoslavia and Greece were super important with their partistans, they literally fought full battles, it wasn't like Poland or France or the Netherlands, where general sabotage and espionage took place, full battles were taking place and they had hundreds of thousands of troops, these weren't governments in exile, these were people rising up on their own to make a new country and not restore the old. Considering how important these were in setting up post-war Europe, from SFR Yugoslavia and the Greek Civil War, and so much more, yeah it's kind of important.

Nice changes, especially for Yugoslavia, great job!
What this means for the player is that upon taking the Iron Guard focus, Ion Antonescu will become the figure head for the fascist party and the party will be renamed from the PNC to Garda de Fier.
Well, Ion Antonescu was known for opposing Iron Guard policies and being authoritarian and more pragmatic dictator instead of far-right revolutionary. He didn't share their ideology, he was against Jewish pogroms instigated by Iron Guard and there was dualism and struggle for power in Romanian government between Horia Sima (Garda de Fier) and Ion Antonescu which culminated in Legionnaires' Rebellion in January 1941 after which the Iron Guard was banned and National Legionary State collapsed. Would be strange for banned organisation to lead the country.

The lack of dev response on the lack of a socialist focus tree (post-occupation Tito), is strange.

It would be really nice to get at least some news about the issue. Or explanation on why it is missing, if anything.

Many people mentioned it here, and it is worth repeating it. Tito's partisans were an important player in war-torn Europe. Two German armies were tied to the territory of occupied Yugoslavia to counter their activities, as the partisan impact became more and more damaging following the capitulation of Italy in 1943. There were several large scale operations (like Rosselsprung), in which Germans, Ustashe, and Chetniks tried to eliminate Tito and his forces. Unsuccessfully. Keep in mind, this operation was one of the rare instances when Germans used the Fallschirmjäger against the internal enemy - and they actually used gliders. It was such a pressing issue for Hitler, that Germans resorted to the desperate measures.

The amount of resources lost in partisan operations, which could improve the situation at the Eastern front is considerable. All that said, partisans and the emerging Tito's government were one of the main issues in the post-war makeup of Europe. That is why I am surprised that this part of the focus tree, which would be such a fun to play (especially paired with the resistance mechanic), is so underrepresented ...

I am hoping the devs will reconsider their decision, and if anything, make a further rework, at least for the Barbarossa DLC.

Have you considered adding more things for Yugoslavia to the focus or maybe decisions, like:
- Yugoslavia can make Little Entente or Balkan Pact?
focus_yugoslav_little_entente.pngfocus_yugoslav_balkan_entente.png
- Build Rupnik Line (like Czechoslovakian build fortifications)?
Sectors_of_rupnik_line.png
- Reactivation of old Field Marshal Peter Bojović (he commanded of 1st Serbian Army into Vardar offensive 1918 and as only alive Field Marshal was reactivated in 1941 just before invasion of Yugoslavia start)?
Vojvoda Petar Bojović_kolor3.jpg => Vojvoda Petar Bojović_kolor4.jpg
- Some more generals, like Milorad Petrović Lord, Jovan Naumović, Draža Mihailović, Dušan Simović or Ilija Brašić?

*[Lord commanded of 1st Army Group, Naumović of 3rd Teritorrial Army, Mihailović of Chetniks after fall of Yugoslavia, Simović was Chief of the Staff of the Supreme Command until he appointed Kalafatović to that position, Brašić commanded of 3rd Army]
- Recolor old portraits to the correct general's colors (Danilo Kalafatović, Vladimir Cukavac, Milutin Nedić and Petar Kosić)?
Armijski general Danilo Kalafatović.jpgArmijski general Vladimir Cukavac.jpgArmijski general Milutin Nedić.jpgArmijski general Petar Kosić.jpg

**Interesting thing: Danilo Kalafatović was one of most perspective Yugoslavian generals - He opposed the introduction of the the French military doctrine into the Yugoslav army and a static way of waging war and claimed that Yugoslavia, because of its long borders, must wage a mobile war. Unfortunately, most generals thought the opposite of him.

Oh, also instead of the USSR just eating half of Romania for some reason if they swap sides, wouldn't it be both simplier and make more sense for them to just become a USSR puppet and hand over Bessarabia to them in return for white peaceing everyone? That's kind of what happened historically.

Add Major General Leon Rupnik as well to it.

Not what happened historically. After the coup there was an internal battle between the democrats and the communists. The democrats had the support of the people but the communists had the support of the Red Army stationed in Romania. Slowly, each democratic minister was removed and replaced with a communist one. In 1945 the prime minister was removed and replaced with a Soviet supporter and in 1947 the king was forced to abdicate.

Exactly. It is confusing that the Netherlands got such a branch... and Yugoslavia, and Tito partisans (whom Allies recognized as an important force, especially from 1943 onwards), are nowhere to be seen. Instead, again we are getting some crazy alt-history options, with royal marriage (!) being advertised as a feature on twitter

Sadly, with devs silence, it seems that the focus tree we see is a final version...

I am just hoping that they are reading this, and that maybe we might get Tito partisans in Barbarossa DLC

there could be small focuses for the partisans and the chetniks as resistence movements that try to gain control of the country with chetniks being able to either colaborate with the axis and regain some land and make some concesions with them or fight them while the partisants focusing only on resistance, + there could be a small focus tree for Croatia, Yugoslavia should also have political branches for movements like Zbor, I also believe that Serbia and it's national salvation government should be represented in the game as an occupied puppet or something that is trying to work with the germans and trying to regain some land as well in exchange for their cooperation, western Banat should also be a region used by the Germans to lure Hungary, Romania and Serbia.

I think that when the Italian rework comes, I could possibly insert small trees shared in the Chinese warlords style for the rest of the Balkan republic like Croatia, Montenegro etc ... as well as Albania. Something that exists in mod road 56

let us remember that the Italian fascists supported and financed various nationalist-separatist groups from the Balkan republics, among them was the Croatian ustacha to de-tebalize the Yugoslav state

So you're saying the end result wasn't them becoming a USSR puppet? Cause that is what you just described. HOI4 can not and does not model all the little details over the course of two years you included. That is why I said 'kind of what happened'.

With any luck the Soviet rework will include the ability to prop up the Popular Front governments in Eastern Europe - to get around their promise to implement democracy in liberated Europe while still exerting communist influence

So you're saying the end result wasn't them becoming a USSR puppet? Cause that is what you just described. HOI4 can not and does not model all the little details over the course of two years you included. That is why I said 'kind of what happened'.
What I'm saying is that they didn't become a USSR puppet instantly as you suggest. That "little detail" is not being a puppet for 3 years.

Since this thread is still active, some of my flavor suggestions for Yugoslavia are linked in my signature.
Why would not be active? And yes, Dukovac would fit well. From Royal Yugoslavia, to NDH and Germany, and Eastern front, to Soviets, Tito Yugoslavia, Italy...and more after war. It would be interesting to have him in the game
