Can you please rework the Polish states, too?
I get that the 1945 Border of Poland should be included, but given the game is focussed on WW2, the states should rather be drawn in a historical way.

This would be my suggestions:
- I saw you are gonna add Danzig as a City state so i included it
- Redraw the Niederschlesien-Ostmark border so that east germany doesnt look shit when they get niederschlesien for some reason
- Redraw Border of Posen and Westpreußen (formerly Danzig) so there isnt that weird bump in the border when poland gives up the corridor
- Redraw Borders of Łódź and Płock so that they match the Border of Germany and the Generalgovernment
- Add Suwałki and Małopolskie for the same reason
- Add Hrodna in Belarus for better RK Ostland Borders
- Add Podkarpackie as a way to establish historical Soviet Border

Also adding the Generalgovernment and more RKs in Russia would be very nice.

View attachment 721006
What is the point of adding an occupation area as well for Northern France, Benelux, Denmark and the rest of the occupation territories. Anyway, the borders you set have little to do with the historical borders of the regions

Do you plan to give the land to the countries of the Baltics that was annexed after being occupied by Soviet Union? For Estonia example the lands of Petseri and Jaanilinn. These still belonged to the First Republic time.
Also, why is the country in the north of Estonia called Harnu and not Harju? :D

But I think Kansallinen Kokoomus was a former right-wing and conservative party ?

Yes, you're right. Kokoomus or Kansallinen Kokoomus is still a Finnish right-wing party and its activities are governed legally and democratically, or parliamentaryly.

The Finnish extreme right-wingers and fascists were more like people's movements and organizations, not parties. Well, IKL (Isänmaallinen kansanliike - Patriotic People's Movement) was a radical right-wing party, but unlike its predecessor - the Lapua Movement - IKL didn't create its own "laws", but held on the Finnish Constitution Law and acted parliamentaryly.

Many members of Kansallinen Kokoomus supported right-wing radicalism and the Lapua Movement, but after Lapua Movement was disbanded and fascism was banned in Finland, also Kansallinen Kokoomus turned into more moderate party.

I'm not terribly knowledgeable about Finnish history, but from what I understand the closeest thing to a homegrown fascist movement in Finland was the Academic Karelia Society (AKS). They apparently proposed something along the lines of Finno-Ugria, so the idea, while still outlandish, is not quite as ridiculous as some people have been claiming it is.

Will there be interactions with Turanist Turkey, and Finno-Ugran Empire ? Like idk, an event where Turanist Turkey demands annexation or puppeting, and given how strong Turanist Turkey is, they'll accept or refuse.

Considering Hungary isn't part of the union, this would be a bit odd since people who actually believe in Turanism and see it as a political goal would be pretty scarce I should think.

Lots of exciting stuff! Thanks for the long, content-rich DD :)

I noticed a typo in a couple of places: Veteran's instead of Veterans'. I assume there was more than one veteran involved in the fascist movement ;)

I'm not sure about what to think the above. I guess, it would be alternative history...but rather a far fetched one.

Historically, the right-wing and fascist movements had been suppressed already in Finland. The leaders were arrested and sitting in jail. It would take a lot from the Estonian right-wing to spread the already once-suppressed ideology in Finland.

Indeed, there was never any realistic chance of Finland going fascist. I do have a question regarding your comment though: who exactly was still sitting in jail 1.1.1936 as a result of the so-called Mäntsälä Rebellion in 1932?

Knowing Paradox, more likely than not. The Finnish "Turanist" branch will likely be the one given most attention, based on some lackwit Internet meme as it is.

Sorry, you’re right...my choice of words were misleading...it should have been they had been sitting instead sitting as everyone was already released until 1/1/1936.

This is interesting and opens up role play ideas. For instance. The Nordic empire Baltic country. Its fascist right? So in return for Germany's help to annex the nords they provide help against the soviets.

I think the focus 'Estonia is Scandinavian' should rather be 'Estonia is Nordic', as Scandinavia is a geographical region with clear boundaries (Denmark, Sweden and Norway) and that cannot be extended to Estonia (it cannot even be extended to Finland, actually)
In fact, Denmark doesn't have any areas in the Scandinavian peninsula any more, though they did in the past. Most of Denmark consist of another peninsula, Jylland. Denmark is still usually counted as part of Scandinavia, but because of cultural rather than geographic reasons, just like Icelanders.

Parts of the Scandinavian peninsula are inhabited by Finnish people, though these areas belong to Sweden. Swedes call these people "Meä people" instead of Finns purely for political reasons, so they would not need to recognize Finns as having an original ethnic minority status - which is rather surprising in itself considering the long stretch of history the two people share.

If Sweden had been able to hold onto the geographic area of Finland, would they not call it part of Scandinavia? You can bet your surströmming they would.

All I'm saying is that "Scandinavia" is a construct made of a mix of geographic, cultural and political reasoning that aren't actually fully consistent. In my opinion, Paradox games, especially EUIV, handle this mix of concepts admirably well through its systems of cultures, core areas, claims, formable nations, and accepted cultures.

In any case, I believe this is called "Estonia is Scandinavia" for a reason. It is a joke. It referd to the Scandinavian countries' refusal to consider Estonia a Scandinavian country (or a Nordic country) for that matter, despite Estonia wishing to be considered as such.

Once Estonia has conquered the other Nordic countries, it can bloody well call itself a Scandiavian country, because there's no-one left to protest. That's what the name of the focus stands for.

1. ATM units stop not when they are already totally out of supply - what your comment implies, but when their further movement may create a situation on insufficient (i.e. below 100%, not necessary 0%) supply.
2. ATM all units are affected - even if you create an infantry-only unit with horse supply - which can theoretically move several hundred km with only what they have with them at the start of the march.

So I must respectfully disagree with your comment.
Humor is when someone can laugh about a comment. I assume you thought I was serious about it - that's an opinion, too. No offense.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. Please let this be one gigantic DLC. A DLC that revamps a lot of stuff like it seems to be doing with Supply, Armor, and Combat. But something that puts Barborassa into a bigger perspective. Like if the Axis Nations and the Soviet Union are all revamped with reworked focuses that help bring the epicness of the war to scale.

So If we could also get a German rework that focused on the war in the east more. Preparing for Barborassa, supply lines, and so on. If at the least we could get an Italian rework for this then that'd be great also. Germany, Italy, and Japan are some of the most important nations of the war. I doubt it, but a Japan rework I think could be amazing here. Then have the big man itself, Russia.

What is the point of adding an occupation area as well for Northern France, Benelux, Denmark and the rest of the occupation territories. Anyway, the borders you set have little to do with the historical borders of the regions

IMO it is not about historical borders of regions, but rather about historical borders of nations. Nobody cares how your states are arranged inside your territory, but you will notice if the border is wrong.

I based the states eastern borders on the 1939 partition of poland (map below) and looked up some names for the newly created states on google.

Also my point of RKs was that it would be nice to devide the soviet union into little pieces (and also form the Generalgovernment).
