You haven't seen what happens when air war goes crazy, no matter how far you push the tech tree, there is just not enough raw material, specifically aluminium in the world!
That's a separate issue, though. The AI builds far too many planes. @SteelVolt needs to take a look at that. You haven't seen what happens when air war goes crazy, no matter how far you push the tech tree, there is just not enough raw material, specifically aluminium in the world!
Last Multi I was in had something like 40,000 planes by 1941.... It is not the A.I. it is the nature of the air war, at the moment when you commit to it, you need to commit to it entirely. Further as the entire world gets mobilized there is a raw material shortage, where there is simply not enough in the world. With Oil and Rubber this is solvable using the artifical production, with the metals however, it becomes absolutely terminal, as eventually you simply cannot add more resources to the world. That's a separate issue, though. I really like it
@podcat : maybe you should "reserve" the 2nd article of each new DD to let mods copy your/devs answers to regular questions into it... guess it's really time consuming to read/answer the same questions again and again for the team and would help everyone who has not read all the other pages in all the other DDs already...![]()
Hey the uk gets the lemurs. Sweet!Of course, everyone knows this picture. Logistics in Africa should be damn complicated.
You can just select "show only dev responses" in the top right.
In gameplay vs history, I'd agree with that decision since America already faces in game a lot of obstacles to mobilise. Like i said i was more curious if there could be more flavour for segregation but thats not an exact priority.
Possibly, although officially the game does end in 1948.To be fair, I do think Order 9981 should have some role in the game, simply becuase it's historically significant. (Mabye as an event?)

Does that also work in reverse though? If South Africa goes Communist will they then go down the Communist branch of the tree? What if they have bad relations with the Soviet Union, does that then lead to them going on their own independent crusade or visa versa? What about if their ideology changes, will they be forced back to the beginning of the tree? If another country causes them to change ideology will that mean that they'll have better relations with that nation? If historical focus is on, the AI has a list of focuses it works down. If historical focus is off, the AI evaluates each focus, and a lot of them do have modifiers about whether or not the Ai will pick them if certain things happen. The AI is a lot less likely to pick supporting the policy of appeasement if the UK isn't democratic, for example.
On that note though . . .
