I kinda doubt that considering how much Hitler cared for incorporating Austria into a German Reich. That was one of his main platforms in foreign policy. He also hated the Hapsburg's with a passion.

Can we now get some aluminium in Africa, please? Guinea and Sierria Leone both have significant deposits and its not close to South Africa, which would make for an interesting scramble, especially in light of the fascist AI going closed economy.

I know Uranium isn't a resource, but I'd love to see some way to model the intrigue around the known uranium sources in the Belgian Congo. It could be a fun way to introduce chaos into the late game.

I also agree with the idea that if you choose a habsburg, then you will need the help of mussolini to survive against Hitler (Not that I understand why Mussolini would wish to help A-H). If it was a facist king however (?!?!?) and they aligned with Hitler, then that would make more sense, (or does it?) Maybe. . . :/ Fingers crossed. X

Still I am one from very small group who is more hyped about Czechoslovakia - really underated country which was only funcional interwar democracy in that region. One of the top 10 industrial powerhouse of the world in Interwar period and even Hitler was in 1937 scared to attack them directly. But after Munich Agreement (called in Czechoslovakia "Munich Treason") Benes stayed on crossroad - what to choose? Citizens was determined to defend their country to their last breath, but without help of France Benes guessed that going into war would be certain death. So he choose dishonor. After that decision Czechoslovakia was crippled and later consumed by Germany. And their industry buffed Germany than nothing else before - and made german army for next 2 years unstoppable. So if anyone complains about Czechoslovakia in this DLC, in my opinion, "Death or Dishonor" fits for them more than you problably thinks...

You can either offer the crown to a proper Constitutional Monarch and become a democracy, or to a King who has...connections to certain rather radical groups in other countries.

All of Banat should become part of Austria-Hungary: specifically, the Romanian part, which is already a state of its own, should have AH cores, while the Yugoslavian/Serbian part of Banat should become its own state, especially considering that it had its own autonomy under the puppet government of Serbia from 1941 to 1944:

I'm not really a fan of the restoration of Austria-Hungary but I am a stickler for historical accuracy so I'd like the right flag as well!

If Czechs chose to fight, it could be interesting if Soviet Union could somehow support them, sending ultimatum to Poland or Romania and demanding military pass.

I read that Hitler offered Horthy Croatia but Horthy apparently passed on the offer and preferred a Croatia dependent on Italy and Germany. So maybe it would be possible under a different head of state? Also @podcat, Why did you pick Friedrich Franz for a fascist king? He was German and I don't think he really has any connection to Hungary. He was also a member of the police and SS. Wouldn't that be a conflict of interest to Hungarian nationalists?

Well, it seems to be a WIP, as you'd expect. Horthy is correctly non-aligned, but yes, the fascist party should be Szálasi and the Arrow Cross Party.

They would have to rework the game entire political system for that. And Sza'lasi only was given power in 1944 after Horthy tried to ditch the Axis.

I feel like "Nuclear Stuff" could be part of a DLC in the future. Plutonium, Uranium, and Heavy Water production all should/could be represented in-game. Norsk-Hydro in Norway was an important place that should definitely be represented somehow.. Maybe a plant of a unique type, like how refineries or reactors work. Obviously they would be buildable for others by tech or something. Neat idea.

I would say that if Hungarian nationalists decided that they wanted a king specifically to strengthen ties with the fascist regimes in Germany, going with a German would not be the worst choice (German princes were also somewhat popular in a lot of places that ended up in need of a king). Besides, FF was not just a member of the SS, he was a member of the SS before 1933 - the guy was a true believer. It sends a very strong message to appoint him to the throne. (I also didn't want to use Edward AGAIN).

You are right that there are candidates with better connections to Hungary, but most of the ones I checked were (like many aristocrats) somewhat critical of fascism as an ideology.
