And what about fixing Spanish Civil War?

I am tired of watching how communists ahistorically win.

It can be easily done giving National Spain better division templates (legion) and removing malus for offensive war

When Germany is told to restore the Kaiser, how will it decide between the central powers path and the pro-british path?
Does it use the AI weights like in a normal game with ahistorical focuses?
The two paths lead to quite different results so it would be nice if we could choose which one is taken.

@Archangel85

Does "Random" setting means that for AI all possible paths now have the equal weight, or same system remain, where some paths are more prioritized than the other (leading for example to nearly no-existant AI Germany, going path of opposing Hitler).

You can choose 3 paths : Fascist, Kaiser and Democracy

I know.
That's the reason I said it would be nice to also have the option to choose between the two different Kaiser paths.
You can - one of those is the Democratic path, unless I'm misunderstanding you.

The options are Fascist (default), Democratic (Kaiser - democracy) or Restore the Kaiser (Kaiser - non-aligned). Germany has no Communist branch.

Why can't you get achievements for doing random historical paths? I always liked how you could still get achievements by doing ahistorical AI focus tree paths before Man the Guns, it makes the game much more fun and unpredictable. Would it be possible to allow all random AI focus trees combined to have achievements?

By early April 1937, the fighting has reached Berlin. Hitler orders all available resources to be thrown in a counterattack under General Steiner, but is informed by his Generals that this attack did not take place. He takes the news with his usual stoicism. The city falls a few days later, and the fascist government does not survive the end of the month.
Nice one

Always love an AAR Diary myself, we just need a Monarchist France path in the future now to compliment everyone else's Monarchs!

The setting for an AI overrides all other game settings, so if you check historical focuses but tell the German AI to restore the Kaiser, it will pick Oppose Hitler anyway.
I see that you can pick the main branches, but not sub branches.
So you can't preset fascist Germany to go for the Berlin-Moscow axis or Kaiser Germany to specifically accept/challenge British naval dominance, is that correct?

No, I don't mean the democratic path.
If you become non-aligned you can choose between two different paths.
One where you rebuild the navy, restore Austria-Hungary and assasinate Mussolini and then fight the allies, and the other where you exile the communists, get an alliance with the UK and then fight against communist France.

Ah, gotcha.

Yeah, it seems sub-branches aren't (currently) covered by the new system, unfortunately.
