Hello ! Me and my friend are trying to play HOI4 , but we are constantly having desync problems . As soon as big event happens ( spanish civil war ; etc ) we get desync . Is there a fix to this problem ? We have really good machines + good internet connections .

This is usually caused by two issues, either your computer can't catch up with the host or your internet can't catch up the host. In my experience, it's usually the computer issue. To get around this, when I'm playing MP with friends we usually chose the person with the worst computer to host so we don't have to put up with any major desync issues

I would also recommend restarting your games each session, because from what I understand not restarting can cause problems as well.
I don't know if it actually helps, but before all my games with friends we have everyone clear their user cache. If you clear your cache remember to reenable all the mods you plan to use for the game, as clearing it turns off all your mods.
Yeah we always clear the cache , we even tried withoud using any mods ( cuz we thought that may be causing it ) but still the same . After 20-ish mins of playing we just get desync .
Also whenever i host a game and he joins when we start , his game is stuck on pause all the time . When i join his game i get desync when the first major event pops up . Any help ?
Also x2 Whenever i host a game only one of my friends can join . The other one gets failed to connect error . I think im the problem here . HOW TO FUCKING FIX IT
