I'm having this rather common issue : the game crashes (ctd) at a fixed date.
The save is linked. The game crashes on 30/04/1942 whatever I do (delete orders, etc). It happens between 1:00 and 6:00, after a small freeze between 24:00 and 1:00.
No mods enabled nor installed. I have Together for Victory and Death or Dishonor installed. Ironman mode. I'm using Windows 10, a decent computer. I ran a dozen of long lasting HOI4 games without issues, but this is the first one with those DLCs, though.
I tried several fixes found on forums (changing the autosave frequency, pausing/un-pausing very fast, etc), without success. I wasn't able to read and edit the save-file, as it is not in txt (I switched the line in the settings.txt afterwards). I uninstalled the game and deleted everything in the \Documents\Paradox Interactive\HOI4 folder (backed up my saves), reinstalled and loaded again, but the crash still occurs. I thus guess that the issue is in the save-file itself...
