Feedback to heat development :
Just bought a new heat fluid this day as HOI IV forces my CPU to shutdown, just to see your Hotfix afterwards - both work fine!
CPU : i5 3570k with standard Intel cooling, no OC, TDP 105°C
GPU : GTX 780 Ti
Disp : 60Hz 1920x1080p
Both CPU and GPU are known as heat generators, and the standard cooler in combination with an open case could be one of the worst cooling options ever.
1st Day - no problem, all night long

2nd Day - crashes after 10-15min while I was preparing the nation while the game was paused. Cleaned all of my cooler fans, and opened the windows - it was the evening of a hot summer day, indoor temperature >25°C. Tested my GPU but no temps above 70°C. Again playable all night long.
3rd Day - crashes again after 5-10min, first use of Coretemp, CPU runs far above 90°C (this is the point where this CPU should throttle) so I reduced all graphics options from highest to lowest - it then worked at around 85°C - anl.
4th Day, before patch - after applying the heat fluid, it runs with 72°C max at highest graphic options, windowed (1920x1080p, 60Hz).
4th Day, after patch - 59°C and i hope for a successful night for the Turkish Empire.
So keep up with the good work. It may be something to do, as I played Shadow of Mordor on the same system with all settings except for textures on Ultra and it never crashes. Don't understand much of that, but it seems that too much of GPU-Tasks are done by the CPU - that may work in SoM where the CPU doesn't need to do much but in HoI the CPU is already busy with simple math. Another, but even more older comparision would be Supreme Commander - both Part 1 and 2 worked well on this system, even as I just had the GTX 480, with no crashes, and no remarkable speed losses endgame.
For now, I'm more than content.
