just tried reinstalling HOI3,
normally played as germany or russia but this time tried poland
just felt like messing around so used the instant build cheat to push poland ahead faster
built up a huge army and invaded russia.... then several provinces in, a bunch of my units got frozen into permanently delayed, like stuck on 1 hour delay for several weeks....
wasnt terrain / weather / etc.... they were just stuck there
i read on another web page that it was the enemy HQ units somehow doing this. so i tried sending troops around the frozen combats to attack the HQ units directly, and as soon as they fell back the combats were immediately unfrozen
anyone have any idea why they can do this
like on the page i read some guys were even saying you dont even need to build combat units... you could just guard your border with hq units and lock the enemy out
