I was going to ignore this thread, however I will mostly…

1. Best Mod: HSR, with the Historical Improvement Project (HIP) and MOD 33 (francophone) both being strong runner-ups.

2.Best tech tree: Split vote between MDS2 and 1914, largely because both have done a credible job of rewriting for a totally different period.

3.Best realism project
The Historical Improvement Project for industry and war mobilization, and the Naval Beta for HSR for naval affairs. For German stuff and quite a lot of other things, HSR. For quite a lot of completely different things, CORE.

4.Best events
MOD 33 and CORE, followed closely by HSR.

5.Best alternate history mod
Kaisereich: Legacy of the Weltkreig.

6.Best scenario (not sure)

7.Best database
Hard to say. HSR, CORE, HIP, and TRP have all done good work here. The big problem is that improvments get in one mod, and too seldom get shared with others. Each of these mods are brilliant in some areas ... and need to do some homework in others.

8.Best modder
Aregorn of HSR and Dec152000 of the HSR Naval Beta and CORE probably top my list.

9.Best previews,feedback,etc. (not sure how to judge this)

10.Most promising mod
I'm looking forward to TRP 0.9, personally. Despite the self-glorification of the modder just below my post! *scowls at Lothos and tells him to vote and stop advertising*

The Graphics Improvement Project, then DMP, then MOD 33. A fairly close race - all are excellent.

Dont think you can take this pole yet since SR and CORE have DD versions and TRP has not released its DD version (but will any day now). It has been 10 months since TRP v0.8 has been released and just like we did when 8 was released it will once again set new standards in the modding community with the v0.9 release.

1.Best mod: Mine :rofl: If only there were a 'best total lack of realism category' or a 'most ahistorical mod'. Honestly, I think the game is so moddable that people will never agree on a favorite. They are all looking for something different.

3.Best realism: I'm partial to TRP for trying to get it realistic, but I haven't tried all the others.

4.Best events: I'd go with Mod33 here, although I haven't tried all the others. Only being available in French is also a problem. Don't get me wrong, I like France and support the use of the French language by anyone, but lots of us don't understand it.

8.Best modder: I choose Yukala of the Risk Mod. He is busy doing the most difficult thing with ai, trying to make it artificially intelligent. In the future I suspect more and more of us will profit from his trials, tests, and tribulations.

10.Most promising mod: I'd say Jusas's .tbl formatting thing. Once the map is opened up, everyone will want a piece of it.

I'd just like to put in a note of compliments for Yukala, who despite relatively low publicity has made the Best AI of any mod and Sarmatia1871 who has come up with the best ideas for mods.
