you better chew out those bombers before they reach your industry heartland (whatever that province might be) - so defending one province against strategic bombers is pretty useless imho,
those guys will intercept in a certain region - and radar seems to help interception a lot,
basicly this would match fairly well the way it happened during WWII. Bombers where harassed the whole time by fighters on their fly routes,
key industry heartland had extra AA defenses -
