...is, in my own humble estimation, the single greatest strategic level wargame of all time.
If Hearts of Iron was the rough diamond extracted from the earth, Hearts of Iron 2 is the same gem having undergone the treatment of a master craftsman, polished to perfection and presented to a beautiful princess on an engagement ring.

however one little nitpick = safeguarding your industry by means of regional protection area's isn't so illogical. Who will know what the real target will be of the bombers,

About the Author
Aaron McKenna is a freelance journalist and gaming addict, though happily enough the two seem to mix quite well. When not muttering to himself and banging the keyboard in the hopes of producing readable articles he can be found anywhere from the throne room of a Civilization, the cockpit of an F-22, the boots of a GI or the bridge of an Akula, though since the writing of this article he can be found at the head of a “tank column” (traffic jam) ordering “Patton” (the hapless driver) forward to “Moscow” (the office) in “May 1945” (8.40am, Monday Morning, almost regretting playing Hearts of Iron 2 until 5am… almost.)
