I am wanting to start a 1936 game as the Soviets and appreciate the new features found in Doomsday. However, is it worth beginning what I know will be an epic of a game, which will take weeks to complete, in DD or should I start it in HOI2 1.3b? Thanks

In DD you can abandon that stupid (incorrect and misleading named) human wave doctrine and go for infiltration - death to capitalists at 2 AM 
Yeah, you can go for Mobility and wage a Blitzkrieg, like I'm currently trying to do with Nat China.
