you probably saved them as .jpg, and when you do so, the colours slightly change, thusly you have 50 versions of green around your flag instead of the 1 green that is ok to make it as no background.

save as .bmp

TeutonburgerW: thanks for the flag, however i had requested different shields. See a page or 2 ago, but i don't think you have the programs to make them in the style i want. Also you don't need to over expend the St-Petersburg CoA, it look a bit disproportioned..

About my mod, well, we have produced a nearly-playable scenario. It bug at Jan. 2 but im confident than we can find a way to solve that.
