HOI2 Armaggadon - French Event

I am sure this quesion has been asked for many times, but I cannot find it back.... Please help me if you still remember the answer.

In Armaggdon, after Germant is defeated by Allies, can France restore its capital to Paris if it moved the capital to Brazzaville before... is it a bug that we can never trigger this event anymore ?

In my experience, if mainland France has been freed, and Germany has been annexed by anybody but Russia, then eventually the French capital will return to Paris, and the Dutch and Belgians will have their territory returned, and return to their own capitals.

Luxembourg, however, seems to remain the property of whoever took it from Germany.

It appears to be a set of automatic events, but the timing varies and is a bit random, so it may take a couple of months of game time.

Just give it some time, and see if that works.

I looked through some old saved games from the doomsday-armageddon version and found this section of text in the "game history " :-

name = "3:00 May 18, 1945 : Belgium had The Cabinet returns to Brussels ."
name = "3:00 May 18, 1945 : France had Return to the City of Light ."
name = "3:00 May 18, 1945 : Netherlands had The Cabinet returns to Amsterdam ."

I can't find the event that causes them, but as I said, as far as I can tell, it's automatic under certain conditions, after Germany has been annexed.

I don't think you actually need to do anything.

The problem I have is that I can't find the precise conditions to trigger the events.
