I have only one thing I found that either needs fixing or I did wrong.It seems as if German generals from WWII are being used along side WWI generals.I'm sorry if this has been brought up before.

Not to worry. :) It sounds as if you forgot to delete the WWII German file from your TGW installation...

I've just noticed that Mussolini's 1922 March on Rome is not in Italy's event list.Will this be added in at some point?I would do it myself,but I'm not proficient at creating events.Don't worry, if it's not deemed worthy to create...I'll still think TGW is great :)

:confused:

It's in my copy of the mod, at any rate:
Code:
# The Fascists march on Rome

event = {
	country = ITA
	id = 27025
	random = no
	style = 0

	name = "The Fascists march on Rome"
	desc = "24,000 blackshirted fascists have marched from Naples to
Rome, backed by landowners, army officers and industrialists, determined to
seize the Italian government. Although the army has been deployed to block
the Fascist advance, the King is under pressure to ask the Fascist leader,
Benito Mussolini to form a government. The King fears a civil war, and
Mussolini appears to be the strongman the Italian nation needs to decimate
Serrati's socialist challenge."

Thank you,I type it all in,but I have the feeling that I need to do more to make it work.Is there any more info I need to put in?

First off; v. nice mod. The over-all set up and look is FAR superior to the first. Great work gents!

Just a few issues I've got.

1) The Turks are under-rated. Russia can steamroller Turkish defences in the Caucaus as soon as early 1915 and march into Baghdad with relative ease. How about giving them some Tech improvements (Bolt-Action Rifles) and strengthening fortifications on the border ? I'm not being allowed to commence bumbling Nixon-led offensives to Baghdad because it's full of Russians. What a game killer that is ! :)

2) The Germans could do with a few extra techs. In the games I've played they can't take anything like the territory they took in historical terms in WWI on the Western Front.

3) Any forthcoming picture packs for British Generals ?

Other than that it's a genuine pleasure to play. Cheers for all the hard work you've put in. :cool:

What version of the mod are you using? 1.05b? Despite appearances, the 1.0 in the stickies is more recent than 1.05b (the b meaning it was still in beta).

Ah! :)

I thought it was the final version. :) I remember I downloaded the first ever GW release and it was VERY unstable (annexations were next to impossible and the Russian revolution was a nightmare of crashes and errors). Checking out 1.05b I thought it was the finished real deal such were the (radical) improvements made.

Thanks for that mate.

Now... if I can only ever get round to starting and FINISHING a Great Warr AAR. :rolleyes:
