WWI Map

Yes, good map but I do think Russian Poland is a little small (take away province south of Elbing from Germany maybe or give Austria the province east of the one they have in Poland and give that one to Russia), Serbia maybe too wide at the northern end (why is Belgrade shown north of the Danube) and Bulgaria should get a southern coast to stop Greece and Turkey going for each other even more than they did.

Of course, this would be a 1914 map as Turkey would be bigger in 1905 before the disasters of the Balkan Wars and would still have Libya and the Dodecanese Islands. With Italy, the province NW of Venice should be Austrian as they had the Tyrol until 1918 while Austria should also get Trieste

And yes, the Turks did have Mecca until WW1 finished.

With regards territorial claims, this would be considerable, especially against Austria-Hungary!

Phil Beard, if you would have taken some minutes to read the whole thread, you would have realized that those things were changed decades ago. :p But we've (I've) made Hedjaz a puppet of the Ottoman Empire since they where kind of half-independent, like Finland.

Dan Cook, no idea... Before summer probably. :D

Bye bye everyone, I'm going to Thailand tomorrow, I'll be back in three weeks. Hope to see a lot of progress by then. ;)

Why should the KGB be in a WW1 mod? Wasn't it called The Cheka in the early days, and later NKVD, and even later GPU and only after WW2 did the name KGB stick?
