Yes, it is down. I have heard rumors that they are killing Vnet, but also heard rumors that they just all left thier work behind and went on vaction again. Personally, I think it should be integrated with GameSpy. That way we don't have to rely on them being there 24/7 to play MP.

Mostly whenever vnet goes down they are opening a new channel, probably for Diplomacy. 
And Gamespy is shithouse, especially for those you can't sign up for stuff for reasons out of their control, vnet is a godsend for me. Keep it paradox, its worked for for almost 5 years now so keep it
