Anyone seen any other screenshots than these 3? If so,

Sorry for all these questions today. I am just starting to get into
HoI now.:) Looks like it is going to be pretty cool.:)

See the little 'G' in the bottom right hand of the third? That's from Gamespot. It's theirs, legally. Anyway, there's more where that came from. Gamespot has 3 original images of HoI, and that's just one of them.

Cool...thanks...just checked them out. Do I need to remove the 3rd picture from my post above?

Since the river runs through the city it's a toss-up either way. I suppose the justification is that Paris will most likely be attacked from the north or east, and thus it's placed southwest of the Seine so that the river obstacle can be represented in some way.

Linz is just barely south of the Danube, but in the scale of the map it would *probably* be fine to put it north of, as it incorporates Linz as an apparent province. It is, for example, north of Munich, as depicted in the map.

Does Vichy deserve to be on the map? After all, in 1936, it was nothing but a small city reputed for its water.

But it certainly became more important later on! I don't see anything wrong with naming a province after a city that gains prominence during the HOI time period.

I agree with "Boy", Vichy was after all where "Vichy France" got its name, so how much sense would it make to not have it? I hope this game is easily edited, because I would totally make the game start at the rise of Nazi Germany or perhaps even the end of world war one depending on how adaptable the game play is. In fact I say we ask of an official game editor that allows us to fluctuate the years, and other such things. Heck if the game is good enough I would even pay for it (no more than 20$);) Have they made any announcement in reference to such things (they know how much their fans like editing thing!)?

Well. I´m gonna claim that Paradox is one of the few companies that actually deserve the 50 $ or € for a full game. And I´ll buy HOI no matter what. :)
