Reason I'm asking is I don't see much difference between a unit with +1000% CA and a unit with very little CA. Battles, damage etc. seem about the same.

But if I change stats that show up in the attacker bonus it greatly impacts combat results. I'll be doing more testing tonight.

Like I said before, you may very well be testing with a number that is out of bounds for that variable, resulting in it defaulting back to zero. If there is a cap on it, I would guess that it would be <100%, so that the mnltiplier was between 1.0 and 1.99.

While I understand and agree with you on the out-of-bounds limit on the multiplier, we depart company on the "between 1.0 and 1.99" part. The multiplier should be able to go below 1.0, but not to 0. This is because we can have combat effectiveness numbers <100%.

Actually the problem was with the mod I was testing this out with. I did the tests in vanilla and there were no issues. The attacker/defender stats reflected the very large percentages that I tested with. So as far as I can now tell there are NO problems with the CA bonus.

What I meant (and should have said) was merely that the CA multiplier should not be able to make the effectiveness multiplier go below 1, though it can get there from other modifiers of course.
