i just checked amazon, and they have an estimated ship date of 1-2 weeks now.

Hopefully my pre-order (which I put in three weeks ago, and has not yet shipped ( ) won't wait for two weeks...

Ah well, I guess I shouldn't complain. Someone gave me an Amazon gift certificate for Christmas, so this copy is basically free to me.

Yeah, christianx, I can imagine that old-timers like you must be sitting around grousing about how Paradox has left the niche and joined EA in the mass market.
It's sort of like what happens when your favorite band abandons what they did in their first great CD and starts letting the marketing arm of their record company start dictating what they should be doing.

Hehe yes...but never ever compare Paradox to EA! After all...an hour or so after I got the game I got confirmation on two upcoming patches.
As for Ea`s terrible bug festival multiseller Fifa 2004 I am still waiting for a patch....oh, wait. I belive they released a patch for it. It was called Fifa 2005 and cost 65 bucks...

I there was a rating of fun/intellingent games, paradox ones should always hit the top, so no need to worry if some childish FPS beat HoI2. Child have also the right to play.
